From its name and lightning bolt design to its crisp, powerful distortion, its easy to tell that the Anasounds High Voltage has been inspired by the Plexi distortion tones of AC/DC. The High Voltage is designed to recreate the sound of a cranked Marshall Plexi which results in some seriously powerful rock tones. Whether you want to get that AC/DC High Voltage tone or you're looking for a killer classic rock/classic metal tone, the High Voltage can nail those sounds.
The external settings feature your standard volume, tone, and gain controls for helping you adjust and shape your tone. In addition, there's a Bass Cut switch which, as the name suggests, cuts bass frequencies for a more biting tone that really cuts through the mix.
If you open up the back of this pedal you'll find even more controls for sculpting the distortion you desire. Inside, there's a Treble Cut switch which cuts at 4kHz (is on by default), as well as two trim pots, one for Light Intensity (brightness of the light behind the logo) and the other for Voicing. The Voicing control allows you to blend between modern, saturated distortion on the right, and more vintage-styled on the light.
